Unfortunately the description of the plug-in and the installation guidance are at the moment only in German, English and French available. We look for assistance to translate the texts into other languages (Italian, Spanish, Dutch). The assistance will be recompensed with a lifelong free account!

Note:

Before installing the speed camera plug-in check the application version of your Alpine Blackbird. Please go to "Main Menu/Information/System Information".

If your Alpine Blackbird is still running with application versions R4.10.0301 or R4.10.0323 please contact your Alpine dealer for a free update. Once your Blackbird is up to date (application versions R4.10.0810 or higher) return to our website to download the latest speedcamera database.

Important:

It is necessary that the Blackbird must have at least a register in the Address Book!

 

  1. Choose the file SpeedCamera.pmf in the download section. Then click Download button and safe the file SpeedCamera.pmf to your hard disk in a folder of your choice.

  2. In our example we safed the file SpeedCamera.pmf in the folder "C:/temp".

  3. After it please copy the file SpeedCamera.pmf to a blank sd-card.

  4. Put the sd-card into the Alpine Blackbird and switch on your navigation system.

  5. Go to menu Menu Principale/Modifica/Modifica PDI Personali and click Aggiorna.

  6. The speed cameras are transfering now to Alpine Blackbird.

  7. After the installation is finished, you can see the speed cameras immediately in the map! Every time you will get a acoustic alert. But you will only see the speed camera icons in the map if the zoom is 200m or lower.
