I. Installation guide for Navman S-series
- Please log in to SCDB.info and go to the Downloadcenter. Before starting the download you have to select your desired countries and choose one of the possible options for images (we recommend: split into all categories). After that push Download button and save the file navman.zip to your hard disk.

- In our example we save the file navman.zip in the folder "C:/temp".

- Please unzip the overlay with a suitable program - we recommend WINZIP - to a target folder of your choice in your computer. In our example, we selected the folder "C:/temp/navman".

- Now the folder "C:/temp/navman" contains all unzipped files in *.bmp format and *.csv format (every file stands for one speed camera category).

Switch on your Navman device and connect it to the PC over the USB cable.
- Start the software Navman NavDesk 2008 and select Custom POIs.

- Click Browse and choose a *.csv file from the folder "C:/temp/navman". At first we choose Speedcams_50mph.csv.

- Please name the new POI category Speed 50. Enable the Visula alert and choose a distance. With Browse you are able to add a icon file for the new POI catagory.

- Enable also Audio alert and click to Add to refer the sound file alert.wav in the folder "C:/temp/navman".

- Finally click Add to device to transfer the speed camera category to the Navman device.

- Please repeat the steps 7 till 10 for each speed camera file.

Connect your Navman device to your computer via USB (Link kit for Navman F-series is required).
- Install the software F-Series Desktop from CD and follow the instructions on the screen. After that install also Navman F-serie Service Pack.

- Start the software F-Series Desktop from Navman on your PC.
