Safety camera plug-in for Google Earth

Installation Guide

  1. At first you have to install the software Google Earth at your PC.

  2. Please log in to SCDB.info and go to the Downloadcenter of Google Earth. Before starting the download you have to select your desired countries. Click Download button und save the file google_earth_scdb.kmz in a folder to your hard disk.

  3. In our example we save the file google_earth_scdb.kmz in folder "C:/temp".

  4. Start Google Earth through a double click at file google_earth_scdb.kmz.

  5. Activate Temporary Places and google_earth_scdb.kml.

  6. If you close Google Earth you can save the speedcam file in Temporary Places.
    Click YES to keep the speedcam file in the program.
    Click NO to delete the speedcam file out of the program.

 

Note

Currently our database covers more than 26.000 speedcams with several detail information. If Google Earth becomes slow, everytime you have the choice to delete or deactivate the speed cam overlay.
