Speed camera plug-in for Alpine Blackbird (incl. database update)
Installation Guide
Note:
Before installing the speed camera plug-in check the application version of your Alpine Blackbird. Please go to "Main Menu/Information/System Information".
If your Alpine Blackbird is still running with application versions R4.10.0301 or R4.10.0323 please contact your Alpine dealer for a free update. Once your Blackbird is up to date (application versions R4.10.0810 or higher) return to our website to download the latest speedcamera database.
Important:
It is necessary that the Blackbird must have at least a register in the Address Book!
- Choose the file SpeedCamera.pmf in the download section. Then click Download button and safe the file SpeedCamera.pmf to your hard disk in a folder of your choice.
- In our example we safed the file SpeedCamera.pmf in the folder "C:/temp".
After it please copy the file SpeedCamera.pmf to a blank sd-card.
Put the sd-card into the Alpine Blackbird and switch on your navigation system.
- Go to menu Main Menu/Edit/Edit Personal POI and click Update.
- The speed cameras are transfering now to Alpine Blackbird.
- After the installation is finished, you can see the speed cameras immediately in the map! Every time you will get a acoustic alert. But you will only see the speed camera icons in the map if the zoom is 200m or lower.
